Johnita’s Chocolate Chip Blondies   


Johnita is our Member Service Representative.  This recipe has been tested and proved through many families and many different gatherings!

2/3 cup melted butter

2 cups brown sugar

2 beaten eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

2 cups flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

1 pkg chocolate chips




1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix together butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.

3. Beat in the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.

4.  Stir in chopped pecans.

5. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.

6.  Bake for 25 minutes.
